Over a decade ago, I found myself in a corporate job out of college when my body started to shut down. You name it, I had it. You name the doctor, I saw them. Over 500 doctors, Mayo Clinic, two bone marrow biopsies, muscle biopsies, Lyme disease, PCOS, Candida, Leaky Gut, C-diff Colitis, Hypothyroidism, Epstein Bar….the list goes on and on and on. I was put on pain killers, steroids and water pills – Band-Aid solutions – at the age of 22 and was told that was all doctors could do for me. I felt lost; I felt confused and most of all I felt like no one was on my team. I had to figure out how to be a team of one and heal my own life. I learned that I could not just settle and listen to one doctor – I had to take little bits of knowledge from all the doctors I encountered and put together the pieces of my own puzzle. I am delighted to be by your side as you embark on your own health journey. I am here to share with you all the information that I have learned over my ten years of illness and take a holistic approach to your healing process.
What this Program Will Achieve
The Heal Your Gut Solution Program is a comprehensive four-week Program to heal from within by addressing the body and the mind. Each one of our bodies is different and something that works for someone else with the same symptoms, may not work for you. Knowing which foods work for you and which don’t, will help you gain insight into how your body works and how you can heal your gut, and thus, your entire body.
First, you will go through a series of questionnaires to help you get to the root of your symptoms, and then, follow steps each week to reset your gut.
Week 1: Remove bothersome food, bad bacteria and pathogens.
Week 2: Add in probiotics/good bacteria.
Week 3: Help your body digest, assimilate and absorb your food and nutrients.
Week 4: Repair the lining of your gut.
Week-by-week you will find relief from gas, bloating, acid reflux, cramping and stomach/gut pain, promote regular bowel movements, create a healthy immune system, identify the foods that are bothering you, replace bad, pathogenic gut bacteria by restoring good, healthy gut bacteria, heal digestive function and gut lining, eliminate food sensitivities, and finally, balance stress so it doesn’t affect your gut health.
A Different Approach to Healing
You may be experiencing digestive discomfort, but have never looked beyond Western medicine to Integrative/Functional Medicine, which gets to the root cause of health issues instead of putting a Band-Aid approach on the problem, which is what Western medicine does. This may sound overwhelming and trust me, I know because I felt overwhelmed many years ago when I embarked on this journey. Western medicine failed to address my health issues and couldn’t help me anymore, which is how I discovered this other way of healing the body. There are NO nightshade vegetables (peppers, tomatoes, eggplant) in this program for those of you who are sensitive to nightshades, no need to worry about that!
First and foremost, this program begins with an introduction video of me (Amie) talking to you to get you started. I walk you through what supplements to take, foods to eat and foods to avoid, lifestyle shifts, health management tips, a one week meal plan that is specific to healing your gut and quality information that I’ve compiled from numerous M.D.’s over the last decade of my healing journey.
